Best World Global CEO Dr. Dora Hoan Elected Chairman of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations

Best World is honoured to announce that our Global Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Dora Hoan, has been elected Chairman of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA), marking a significant milestone as the first leader from the Asia-Pacific region to assume this position in the federation’s 48-year history.

The WFDSA represents the global direct selling industry, championing ethical business practices and promoting industry standards worldwide. Dr. Hoan’s appointment is a testament to her longstanding leadership and contributions to the direct selling industry.

Reflecting on her appointment at the 18^th WFDSA World Congress, Dr. Hoan shared, “I have spent nearly two-thirds of my life, almost 50 years in the direct selling industry. Nearly half of my life has also been dedicated to building and growing Best World. To take on this important role in the global selling industry is a tremendous honour and a significant milestone in my life.”

She also highlighted the broader significance of her appointment, noting that it reflects WFDSA’s truly global nature as an organisation that brings together the direct selling community from around the world.

As Chairman, Dr. Hoan will focus on strengthening industry standards in ethics, governance and consumer protection, while encouraging the responsible adoption of AI and digital technologies. She also aims to foster stronger engagement with regulators and industry stakeholders, alongside advancing opportunities for women’s entrepreneurship.
